Overview: A complete rebrand for Social Kapture, a leading social media and digital advertising agency specializing in multifamily marketing.

Challenge:
Social Kapture needed a rebrand to enhance its market presence and stand out in the competitive multifamily marketing sector. The objective was to create a cohesive and distinctive visual identity that reflected the agency’s unique personality and expertise.

Execution:
Developed a new logo and icon system that capture Social Kapture’s energetic personality. Created a vibrant color palette and refined typography, drawing inspiration from the colors and aesthetic history of Los Angeles and Southern California. Compiled a comprehensive brand book to ensure cohesive application of the new identity and guide its use across all platforms.

Outcome:
The rebrand successfully positioned Social Kapture as a standout agency in the multifamily marketing sector. The new visual identity, encompassing the logo, color palette, typography, and icon system, effectively set the agency apart, boosting client engagement and reinforcing brand cohesion.

Research

After six months working on client production at Social Kapture, I gained valuable insights into the company’s market, culture, and personality. An opportunity arose in the branding department that aligned with my skills and interests, leading to my promotion. Leveraging this experience, I conducted detailed market research, including a brand audit and competitor analysis, to assess our current positioning and identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation in the multifamily marketing sector.

Inspiration

The design elements, including colors, typography, and photography, were inspired by the vibrant colors and aesthetic history of Los Angeles and Southern California. This approach mirrored Social Kapture's mission to capture the unique essence of the neighborhoods they serve, ensuring the new branding authentically reflects the local environment and the agency’s expertise.
